VDA enriches Vetro di Murano with a floral charm: the firm’s signature is given by the stabilized floral elements that give life to a work of art within a work of art.
The beauty of these plants is protected by stabilization, a process which, like a magic filter, prevents them from wilting, keeping them young for years.
How does it work??
Each flower, rose, moss or similar plant, is collected at the moment of best strength and appearance and, after a careful selection, is placed in a controlled climatic environment.
Here they are placed inside tanks containing a mixture of glycerin and natural oils and left a few days until the plant’s lifeblood evaporates, giving way to these liquids.
Once this process is completed, after a rinse, each vegetable is hung and left to dry for as many days.
The main advantage of this process is given by the fact that each product does not need any care, as a plant normally requires.
Stabilized flowers do not need water, light and do not fear heating or air conditioning, on the contrary the ideal environment is the internal one, far from sunlight and outside temperatures.
The stabilization also gives great freedom in coloring: thus VDA guarantees its customers the possibility to choose the color of their roses from twelve different colors, from the most classic shades to the most eccentric and original.
Red roses, blue like a sapphire, or a composition of many roses in different colors … there is no limit to the imagination.
For its creations, VDA uses a varied number of stabilized roses, depending on the model chosen.
The creation of the composition requires extreme attention and patience: before starting the actual work, our floral designers choose each single rose, carefully selecting the best of the required shade.
The value of stabilized roses is such as to enhance the final value of the entire work.
